Current Projects


Gustavo Twardy, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, studied piano at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and privately with Fernanda Morello while simultaneously studying composition with Maestro Valdo Sciammarella and Eva Lopszyck. Driven by a desire to deeply understand orchestral instruments, he graduated in Orchestral Conducting and later served as assistant conductor for the Choir and Orchestra of the University of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires City Symphony Orchestra.Following this experience, he founded his own ensemble, Capella Peregrina, which performed for nearly a decade, toured NYC and Washington, and recorded the album Viento del Mundo, featuring his music, available on all platforms.With support from a grant from the National Fund for the Arts, he traveled to Estonia to meet two of his favorite composers, Tõnu Kõrvits and the world-renowned Arvo Pärt, culminating in an artistic residency at the Arvo Pärt Center. He currently resides in Tallinn, Estonia.
